Ashley Anderson is a choreographer, performer and teacher based in Salt Lake City.

Her current focus is hosting "loveDANCEmore" a series of (mostly free) community dance events using the resources of her 501c3 "ashley anderson dances".

Her recent choreographic work has been shown in SLC at Urban Lounge, Sugar Space, the City Library and the Capitol Building as well as national venues including: Mascher Space Cooperative, Studio 34 & Crane Arts Gallery (PA); Art 6 & the Taubman (VA); Dixon Place & Joyce SOHO (NY). Her work was also presented by the HU/ADF MFA program at the American Dance Festival and the Kitchen (NY). She has recently performed in dances by Ishmael Houston-Jones, Jen McGinn, Dawn Springer & Regina Rocke.

She has taught for the American Dance Festival Six-Week and Four-Week Schools, Hollins University, the University of Utah, Dickinson College, Utah Dance Education Organization conferences & high school festivals, the HMS School for Cerebral Palsy, the Virginia Tanner Dance Program, the YWCA of SLC, the American College Dance Festival Association & high schools throughout SLC.

She holds B.A.'s with honors in Dance and English from Hollins University as well as a M.F.A. in Dance from the Hollins/American Dance Festival program.

Ashley has also done administrative work including: co-coordinating the 2009 Mid-Atlantic ACDFA, thesis production/media lab coordination & more for the HU/ADF MFA program, and she currently co-coordinates the pre-college dance program at the University of the Arts.
